Tim Armstrong speaks at BCR Alternative & Receivables Finance Forum 2022
Tim joined FCI, Novicap and Stenn in discussing “State of the AltFi market – from avant garde to mainstream?”
This leaders’ panel future gazed for the alternative and receivables market in a rapidly changing world, looking at whether the changing risk environment will unsettle the initiatives that have taken place over the past few years in a very benign environment supported by government lending. Will alternative and receivables finance fare worse than traditional finance in the coming years.
Questions posed included:
- Are we seeing much innovation in the market or are people going back to strategic basics?
- Will a number of business models be tested? If so which ones?
- What should you do with your risk portfolio? How conservative should you be?
- Who will benefit most in this environment?
- Strategic thinking to ride out the economic storm – going back to basics
